Can you believe it is time again for the election of Officers and Board members for the South Carolina Association of Residential Care Homes?  It seems like just yesterday we did this.  We are excepting nominations for the Board of Directors thru November 5, 2010  We encourage you to get involved or get someone you feel would be a good candidate to get involved.

 

A variety of positions will be opening including Director of Small Facilities, all Regional and Director at Large positions.

 

All nominees must meet the following requirements:

 

  • Must be a licensed administrator within the state of South Carolina, with exception of  Director at Large position
  •  If employed by a residential care facility, the facility must be licensed as such in SC
  • The facility must be a paid member of SCARCH in good standing
  • The nominee must be willing to dedicate the time and effort needed to fulfill Board membership responsibilities and duties and can commit to quarterly board meetings.

 

Nominations should be submitted via email with cover letter as to why you feel the nominee or self would be a good candidate for Board membership along with information regarding the nominee’s credentials. 

 

Submit all nominations before November 5, 2010 to Melody Bailey, Executive Director of SCARCH via email at scarch@scarch.org.  We look forward to hearing from you.  Please call the SCARCH office should you need any additional information.  Elections will be held at the 2010 Annual Holiday Get Together scheduled for December 2 in Columbia. Nominees are asked to be in attendance.
