Dear Members:
Revision to Regulation 61-84: Standards for Licensing Community Residential Care Facilities has been approved by the legislature. The revised regulation will be effective upon its publishing in the state register on June 25, 2010.
Please discontinue usage of the 2001 version of this regulation, and replace it with the revised one. For your convenience, a copy of the revised regulation can be found on the DHEC website at:
http://www.scdhec.gov/health/hrreg.htm .
It is my understanding that changes regarding the sprinkler systems and the license fees have been removed and will be resubmited next year to the legislature for approval.
